AnimSchool Picker 2025 Release Notes

The AnimSchool Picker has received a new update to include Maya 2026.
This new update can be found in your Downloads page at https://store.animschool.edu/my-account/downloads/

New Features:

Maya 2026 Support
Json / Ascii Picker file support
New option to change button shapes: circle, square, triangle, diamond, star, arrows, and a plus sign
Ability to define points for custom button shapes by editing Json pickers.
Ability to Lock / Unlock pickers to prevent accidental changes
Trackpad gesture support and support for better navigation without a mouse
Added ability to hide and show buttons

New Shortcuts

Bug Fixes:

Fix scaling issues after mirroring buttons
Pickers should now look identical between Mac and windows.
Pickers previously made on Mac might look slightly different after aligning with Windows
Fixed a bug that caused buttons to have outlines that shouldn’t
Fixed button select color being different between picker buttons and command buttons
Font now looks clearer and scales correctly when zooming in and out
Added real errors to Maya when failing to load buttons from a Picker file
Buttons now use float values for positioning and size for better accuracy for small buttons
